Three Sisters, Some Marsupials, and Piloting a Ship

We went to the Blue Mountains which are situated about 2 hrs from Sydney. They're extremely green canyons with some interesting rock formations, the most famous being the "Three Sisters".

And here I am with the other "Three Sisters"!

We also went to a wildlife park and bonded with some super cute marsupials. Kevin bonded with this little wallaby... (like a mini-kangaroo)

And I got up close but not personal (koalas are not the friendliest creatures despite how they look) with this sleepy koala

We are now in Cairns in Queensland and making our way to Brisbane. It's going to be a 1500 mile drive! And we've got about one week to do it. Today we went to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and we took an old ship to go there. They even let us pilot it!

We didn't want to ruin our cameras so there aren't really pictures of us swimming in the sea (and from above the water it doesn't look that different from other bodies of water). The snorkelling was great but Kevin and I agree that the Philippines actually has just as good if not better snorkelling. It's just that the GBR is so vast, hence its fame.

I love the pic of you two on the boat with the beautiful water in the background - you look very happy and chilled out!
