Quick picture update

We're now in Bangkok, Thailand, staying with Karen's cousin Irma and her husband Art. They have a beautiful townhouse in a great location in Bangkok. I'm even handling their FIVE dogs pretty well also. We're heading off to Chiang Mai tomorrow for 4 days.

Besides offering us a great place to stay and wonderful hospitality, Irma has also offered us another of our favorite things - funny Chinese pictures! Irma and Art were also at Brian and Jackie's wedding in Shanghai and they found this great place to eat there that we obviously missed out on.

Not only are the English translations awesome, but it's also a bit confusing why, despite the English on the two options being essentially the same, the Chinese characters vary tremendously. Hmmm, I'm beginning to think those aren't ovaries in those dumplings at all!!! Something makes me suspicious... And what's up with this "crad" that keeps popping up everywhere in China?

I think this may be a variation on the crude crad! Sounds tasty...

My attempt to translate the crude crad:
ovary: From the Chinese char looks like Crab Roe
Crad: Crab (they think d and b are one and the same?)
A recent trip to Carrefour in Shanghai proved to be interesting, I paid for my groceries at the "Cheek Out Counter". Yeah baby.
