Send us some comments!
As bloggers, it's nice to know when people like what you're saying or that they're finding it interesting. So we have been sad to see that we have had nary a comment in weeks! Now, through Google analytics we know we average over 50 readers a week...so why aren't any of you sending us some LOVE??? So write to us, gossip, tell us what you think, or whether you disagree with us. Let's get the communication lines up and running again! Send it as an anonymous comment or sign it, whatever you do it will be appreciated (unless you slag us off of course)!

You guys are our heros! We hope we can be as cool as you when we grow up. No, seriously. We'd love to have the courage to do what you've done, and experience what you have over the past year. We can't wait for the movie of your lives to hit the Discovery Channel!
Take care,
Dan & Tara (think India)
Have you guys sampled any fried cuys, alpaca saltado? if you're passing by Lima let us know if the chifas are worth being called as Chinese cuisine with a peruvian twist. btw, were you lucky enough to have caught sight of the condor? - Jackie & Brian
I've been having a great time reading your posts and looking at the pictures during your journey.
You want comments, I'll give you comments!
I guess your friends and family are just a bunch of lazy lurkers. Here is my comment:
Happy Belated Birthday, Karen!!!
I love reading along and can't wait to see you guys later this summer.
Hi Karen & Kevin,
You two seem to be doing very well out there! It's the first time I have visited your blog. Was wondering what you've been up to as it's been a big while since we last met so, I searched my inbox to find your blog link!
Enjoy the world! Call me when you are next in London!
Hey guys - looking forward to your stop in DC and enjoying following your travels - what an adventure! A belated happy birthday to you, Karen.
Thanks for your entertaining stories about penguins and skydiving- it helps me escape the four white walls of tedium (aka work)! Can't wait to see you both soon!
Thanks for the vicarious adventures and thrills without the altitude sickness and wc adventures.
Blog on so we can continue to enjoy.
Awwwww...we feel loved! Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. We'll update soon but we've just gotten back from whitewater rafting and have about a million insect bites on us (but it was worth it). And thanks as well for the b-day messages. This old lady appreciates it! While rafting, we saw some sea otters but we hope to see the condor in Colca Canon which is where we'll be in a few weeks. As for cuy, since Kevin and I have had some bad bellies, we haven't tried it yet. So far though we think Peruvian Chinese is closest to authentic Chinese food compared to anywhere else in South America. With 6 weeks to go, we will indeed see you very soon! And finally, Dan and Tara, so good to hear from you and so impressed you've stayed tuned this long! Yay!
Have you seen http://downtheroad.org/?
It's an American couple five years on the road on bicycle. Covered much of where you've been: South America, China, Southeast Asia, and now in Australia.
You guys are short-timers compared to them!
Hi Karen and Kevin, I have been so enjoying your trip. It is wonderful to travel up mountains on the water in crowded buses, stay in cheap hotels with low ceilings without leaving my den [ha]. The pictures and descriptions are wonderful. See you in Chicago. And Karen a happy belated birthday.
KnK,
Now in Bangkok, spent the last hour reading your trip on the Death Road and Machu Pichu. It was a gripping and exciting account.Beautifully written.
